Create Activity with Salesforce
Create a note, task, or event in Salesforce for an Account, Contact, Lead, or Opportunity
What this does
Logs an activity (note, task, or event) on a Salesforce record from your table data. Used to leave AI-generated briefings on Accounts before a meeting, attach call summaries to Contacts after a call, or schedule follow-up tasks based on signals detected in the workflow.
What this returns
The newly-created Salesforce activity (note, task, or event), plus its activity ID and a deep link to the parent record.
How teams use this
Teams typically chain create activity after a research or analysis step: a buying-signals research action returns a recap of recent funding + hiring + growth events, and create activity logs that recap as a note on the Salesforce Account so the AE sees it in the activity timeline before the next call. Or a transcript-analysis workflow creates a follow-up task on the Contact with the agreed next steps.
